Hi, I would like to know:

If the standard JR pass can be used to travel from Haneda to Nagoya, Miyazaki, Sapporo and Mombetsu?
For a 10 day trip do you recommend the 7 day or 14 days pass?
Is it possible to book some of the tickets in advance?
We are two adults travelling in middle August.

Thank you.

Hi there,

Yes, you can visit all these places using the JR Pass. Sapporo and Miyazaki are nearly as far apart as you could go within mainland Japan. I'd recommend at the very least a 14-day JR Pass, so you have time in between travelling to enjoy the local sites.

Some tickets may be reserved via the JR East EKI net website.

Kind regards,
Daniel
