I'll be travelling with my 2 year old boy. I am trying to purchase JR pass since we are trying to travel Tokyo to Hakone, Hakone to Kyoto, Kyoto to Osaka, Kyoto to Tokyo again. Is JR pass worth it?
I know green car is reserved seat but 2 year old boy won't be able to get a seat since he doesn't require a ticket to ride.
Is it better to get a regular JR pass and use the unreserved cart?

Hi there,
A 7-day JR Pass is worth it on this route. I think your best option would be ordinary, as you'd have to buy a normal child pass or ticket if you want a guaranteed seat for him.
Have a good trip!
