Hi,
My daughter and I are wanting to travel from Hiroshima to Naoshima island and were wanting to know if we can use our JR rail passes to get there? What do you suggest? Do we have to swap lines anywhere?
How often does the ferry leave?

Hi Karen,

To travel from Hiroshima to Naoshima:

Take the Shinkansen to Okayama station and transfer there to a local line to Uno station. At Uno you can use the ferries to Naoshima (ferry is not included in the JR Pass).
