Using JR pass from Tokyo to Nagano to Hokane to Osaka

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.

The Shinkansen station for Hakone is called Odawara. You can use the Shinkansen directly from Tokyo - Nagano, then go back to Tokyo to travel via the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo. Finally, take the Tokaido Shinkansen again to Osaka from Odawara.
