Hi,
Myself and my family are travelling to japan at the end of October 2023.
We are planning to take the Sunrise Express from Fuji station on 31st October (Tuesday) at 23:54 to Hemji. It's just that, i believe our 7 day japan rail pass is set to expire at 23:59 31st October 2023. and we would like to know if our pass would be valid for our trip till hemji station next day, in addition is it safe to take this train from fuji station as, if the train is late even 5 minutes our JR pas will expire.
Please guide us if you a better option for us to travel to the kensai region or whether this option is viable .

Hi there,
The rules are: You are allowed to finish your train ride, provided you boarded before midnight.
After, you will not be allowed to transfer to any other trains and have to exit the station.
