Which choices will be better?

Both passes indeed have different coverage areas, and the best option will depend on how many days you plan to spend in each area. I don't really know what you want to see/do/eat in each area. so I'd recommend making a list and then see how much time you'd need in each place.

Once you know that, it'd be easier to match it with a pass.

My plan is :
5/ 5 Osaka to Kanazawa, and stay overnight.
5/6 Kanazawa to Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama， stay overnight.
5/7 Historic Villages to Takayama, stay overnight.
5/8 Takayama to Lake Biwa , stay overnight.

5/9 Go to Arima-Onsen from Kyoto, and stay overnight in Okayama.
5/10 Go to Tottori from Okayama, and stay overnight in Okayama.
5/11 Stay in Okayama all day.
5/12 Back home from OKJ airport.

Which pass I should to use that will be better?

Takayama-Hokuriku Pass and Kansai Wide Area pass?
or
Only Kansai-Hokuriku Area Pass?

Hi Caty,

I think you will be fine getting the 7-day Kansai-Hokuriku Area Pass. This will cover your train travel from 5/5 to 5/11 and make very good savings.

Note that the bus from Kanazawa - Shirakawago/Gokayama is not included.

By the way, if I buy two pass, and the date will use on same day, ex: 5/9 use 「Takayama-Hokuriku Pass」 morning, and use 「Kansai Wide Area pass」afternoon, can I get two pass together on 5/4?
