Hi,

We are travelling to Japan in May. We are wondering if is worth it to get a 7 day JR Pass.

May 18: Tokyo to Osaka
May 21: Osaka to Kyoto
May 23: Kyoto to Tokyo

Hi Luc&Elle,

Yes, a 7-day JR Pass is worth considering if you make the return Tokyo - Osaka/Kyoto - Tokyo within 7 days.

You can also use the Shinkansen between Kyoto and Osaka for a comfortable ride.
