Hi there, I read this post < https://www.jrpass.com/blog/yufuin-no-mori-and-the-jr-pass> about the train and I wonder if all the seats can be turned around to make 4 seats facing each other. I will be taking the first train from Hakata to Yufuin with my family. It will be great to know the location of these seats in the train when making online reservation. Besides, can they be easily turned around?

All the seats can be turned around, meaning that as long as you book the right seats you and your family will be together.
I haven't boarded the train myself, but I assume you'll have no problem turning the seat! Besides, there are staff onboard the train that can always assist you if you have any difficulties.
