We will be in Japan on 05/08 to 05/16/2023 - Hotel at Shinjuku:
We have JR pass and we like to maximize it for a whole day Mt Fuji sight-seeing tour. What are my best options w/ JR pass?
Do they have local tours available? what are the best ones?
3, What other day trips can we get using JR Pass?

1.) The area round Fuji is very large and there's a ton to see and do. Unfortunately, there are not always JR tracks to travel on. With the JR Pass, you could visit places like Atami, Mishima, Odawara (for Hakone), Gotemba, Shizuoka and Kofu. As an alternative to the JR Pass, is to use a Hakone Free Pass and do the Hakone Circle, which I can highly recommend. You can still use the JR Pass to travel to Hakone, and make savings that way.
2.) I don't really have specific tours in mind, as I usually make my own plans, but there are plenty of options.
