Hi,
We are spending time in Tokyo and then going to Hakone on the romance car train. Will we be able to activate the rail pass at the bullet train station near Hakone for travel or Nagoya? We then have another 2 weeks to explore the country with the rail pass.
Thanks in advance.
Steve
Hi Steve,
Yes, you can activate the JR Pass at Odawara station. This is the bullet train station for Hakone.
Alternatively, you could do so ahead of time at any other major station and select a first day of use for a later date.
