Torna a Using the Japan Rail Pass

Family of 5 on Cruise. Stopping at Osaka and Tokyo. Best Pass option?

Hi.
Next year we will be crusing and will be arriving on the first leg in osaka, where we will want to visit kyoto for the day, the following leg we will be arriving on the cruise ship into yokohama and will then need to travel to shinjuku where our hotel will be for 3 days, in one of those days will like to visit nikko for a day trip. Then we will go to narita to fly back home.
What ticket should we buy? Best regards

For your Osaka stop I recommend purchasing single tickets, or possibly a Kansai Pass if you think you'll do enough travel.

For your Tokyo stay I recommend purchasing individual JR/Metro tickets as needed, combined with a 3 day JR Kanto area pass which will cover all travel on JR lines inside Tokyo in addition to your return trip to Nikko and travel to Narita.
