Hi, I am thinking of visiting shirakawago , takayama, kanagawa and maybe kyoto this CNY period from 1-2-2014 to 6-2-2014.
My plane arrives at kansai 6.25am, i m at wits end as to research whether i can possibly be at shirakawa on the same day (1-2-2014) of arrival - to witness the winter light up on 1st. as my enquiries reveal that the ryokan are fully booked from 2-2- 2014 onwards.
If affirmative what is the transportation to take. ?

Unfortunately there won't be any express buses running to Shirakawago at this time, the best way to get there would be to rent a car and drive there yourself. An other option is a taxi but that would be a very expansive option.
