Hi,

I would like to know how to get to Takayama from Tokyo and to Nagoya from Takayama by Jr Rail Pass.
How long would it take for the journey?

Thanks

Hi there,

You can use the Hida Express directly between Takayama and Nagoya. The route takes about 150 minutes. Between Nagoya and Tokyo, you can use the Hikari Shinkansen - about 105 minutes.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
