National or Regional Pass?

We will be travelling to Japan April 23 - May 2. Our travel is limited and I don't think the passes would be cost effective but just want to confirm that is correct. Here are the rail routes we will travel over 10 days:

Narita to Shibuya
Shibuya to Tachikaya
Tachikaya to Nagano
Nagano to Shinjuku
Shinjuku to Narita

Hi there,

I believe you're right, a JR Pass won't be your most cost-effective option. If you feel that a pass is more suited to you, a JR Pass will still cover all your itinerary.
