Nizomi line tickets

Hi we are flying into Osaka next week and I have been looking at tickets on the Nizomi line. For our previous Japan trips we have used the JR pass but this time we would need to buy the 15 day pass because of our itinerary when really we are just needing bullet train tickets Osaka to Tokyo, then Tokyo to Kyoto. I have looked at the JRWest ticketing online and wonder if there is any benefit to buying these online before we leave Australia?
Itinerary:
First week in Osaka
Oct 30 - Osaka to Tokyo
Nov 6 - Tokyo to Kyoto
Thanks for any advice.

Hi KML,

If you are 15 days apart, then buying normal tickets is the best option here. There is no direct advantage of booking tickets ahead online, unless you may be travelling on super busy days and want to secure seating ahead of time.
