Hi experts,
Please give me some advises on this tip that I am having in Japan:
10 days trip: 4 in Tokyo (Narita airport) - 3 in Kyoto - and the rest in Osaka.
I'm wondering should I need JR Pass for this route? Because as I check with JR Pass fare that the total cost I actually paid for the tickets is much lower compared to the 7-day JR Pass itself.
And I would use much public transportation in those three cities like bus, MRT and train.

Hi there,
Assuming you are flying out of Osaka, then using normal tickets for this trip would indeed cost less. The JR Pass is best used for longer trips between cities. Your only long route is the one way Tokyo- Osaka.

Thank you for your quick and kind reply, and as I know that there are many Regional JR passes around, assume that I just wander around the inside cities (those three above), should I need any Regional JR passes?

I checked for regional passes as well in my first post but based on your travel, there's none that would be of much help.
