15 days Japan trip

Hi, We had planned a 15 days trip in Japan with the following itinerary: Osaka - Komaki -Kyoto - Tokyo-Hiroshima (sleeper’s train) - Fukuoka – Takachiho- Beppu- Nagasaki - Osaka
Can 14 days JR pass cover all the travel? Which one doesn't cover? We will arrive Osaka in the evening so will only active the JR pass from the second day which will give us 14 days. Which class shall I buy? Thanks

Hi there,

The JR Pass covers travel to all the cities you wish to travel to. Only Takachiho can not be reached with the JR Pass, you will have to use a bus to get there. Which is not covered.

Most people are fine travelling in ordinary class, Green Class (or 1st Class) can be really nice though, especially when you want to travel in peace and quiet.
