7-day or 14-day pass?

Hi there,
Was wondering whether I should get a 7-day pass and cover the Tokyo portions with day-passes, or get a 14-day pass. My itinerary is as follows:

16/12 Haneda - Tokyo (Koenji)
17/12 Tokyo
18/12 Osaka
19/12 Nara (day trip)
20/12 Osaka
21/12 Kyoto
22/12 Kanazawa
23/12 Kanazawa
24/12 Tokyo (Shinjuku)
25/12 Tokyo - Haneda

Hello there,

I think a 7 day JR Pass would work best if you can make the full trip from Tokyo - Osaka ... and return to Tokyo before the pass expires. This would work fine if you use the pass from 18/12 to 24/12.

Then you could buy local tickets or use a pass like Suica for the remainer.
