I will be in Japan 15 days In October 2012
I plan to get the 14 day Pass which will be validated on first arrival day.
Now my 15 days in Japan is when i leave.

On the 15th day I will be leaving Japan from Osaka.airport

that morning I need to travel Kyoto to Osaka by train

now my JR pass will be expired by then

What is the costs of a one way individual train pass to get from Kyoto to Osaka airport

Can I get a just an individual pass for that one way travel that day when my JR pass is expired?

Is it easy to buy just the one way individual day pas?

Hi there,

The cost of travel to Kansai Airport from Kyoto is around ¥3000 on the Haruka express which is the best direct option I think.

As there are no 1 day JR Passes, I recommend you purchase a single ticket on the 15th for this travel.

If you were willing to do more transfers, you could look into the 2 day Surutto Kansai pass which will give you subway and bus travel on the 14th and 15th as well as travel to Kansai airport, however there will be many more transfers needed if you choose this option.
