We will be in May ,6 2014 near Onsen and we have to go to Osaka .JR pass will work? I didn`t get still when we will use train we have to transfer in some stations? Any direct way to get Osaka from Kawaguchi-ko w/o any transfers?

Hi there!

Here's an example itinerary Kawaguichiko - Osaka. As you can see it requires a couple of transfers but is mostly covered by the JR Pass. Only the part between Kawaguchiko and Otsuki requires a 1,110yen fare.

thank you so sad I have to take transfers it means transfers are going to be in same stations and I have to wait for connection
