I intend to purchase x2 JR 7 day passes but I land in Tokyo on 27/08/14 and depart on 03/09/14
This means I will be in Japan for 8 days however on the eighth and final day (03/09/14) we are just going to narita airport at 13:00
Could we reserve the JR Narita Express return tickets for the 03/09/14 before the JR passes expire after 7 days
Hello there,
The JR Pass can only be used to reserve tickets during the validity period of the pass. So you would have to buy a normal ticket for travelling back to Narita Airport.
A better option however may be to buy the 1,500yen Narita Express ticket upon arrival and start using the JR Pass a day later. This way you cover your way back to Narita with the JR Pass and travel into Tokyo with a great discount.
