Hi,
I'm going to be in Japan for a month and will be spending time in multiple cities, is it better for me to get a 21 day pass and then purchase any additional tickets when I'm in Japan? or should I just purchase 1 way tickets as I travel around?

Hi there,
It all depend on how much you travel and what your total is in fares compared to the cost of a rail pass.
If you do want more than 21-days, then you can also buy more than 1 pass.
