we are travelling from Haneda airport to Sendai, on May 8th
from Tokyo to Osaka on 24th May.
Is it best to purchase a JR pass or individual tickets?
Are we able to present at the stations without a booking? or should we make a booking for our travels?

Hi there,
For just two train trips, individual tickets are usually the best value.
Shinkansen (bullet train) travel requires a ticket. Booking these in advance is highly recommended for peace of mind.
