Hi I have friends in Wakayama and Takayama and I want to know the bst way to travel betwen the to locations. I will be arriving in Tokyo on 13th May 2012.

Hi there, The best ways between these two places will be to travel up to Nagoya via bullet train, and then on to Takayama via the WideView trains (or vice versa). Here's a sample itinerary for you.
