Hi,
Would like to inquiring JR pass or JR mobile apps during our stays in Tokyo and Kyoto.
will be staying in Tokyo for 8 days with 2 days in Kyoto. could one pass to travel between Tokyo/Kyoto, local trips, and do each person needs to have his/her own app or pass/card to travel? thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Each passenger in Japan needs their own JR Pass - or ticket. A 7-day JR Pass is recommended, as it is similar in cost to a return ticket, Tokyo - Kyoto. Any additional travel is where you can start making savings.
