family trip

Hello,

We are a family of 6 (4 above 11 years and 2 under 11) .. we are planning an 8 days holiday in Japan in late March, early April, our trip itinerary will be like this:

• Landing in Kansai, Osaka.
• Staying in osaka for 4 nights and from Osaka we will go on day trips to: 1- Kyoto
  2- Nara
  3- Hiroshima

Then we on Day 5 we move to Tokyo and stay there for 5 nights, and from Tokyo we are planning to visit:
1- Hakone , and take the Tozan Railway.

Is it better to buy the JR pass to buy individual tickets?
