Should I get the 14 day pass or other tickets?

Hi there,

I need a suggestion on if I should purchase the 14-day JR Pass, as I think we are getting close to the costs.

Just some info we are 2 adults staying in Japan from 13/14 until the 28th of May.

This is the itinerary:

13th - 17: Tokyo
17th - 18: Takayama
18th - 19: Kanazawa
19th - 23: Kyoto (incl day trip to Nara)
23rd - 24: Koyasan
24th - 27: Osaka
and then back to Tokyo.

Included in that would of course be trips within the cities to all the sightseeing spots.

I am not too sure if I should just get the 14-day trip ticket or if other tickets are more worth it.
