Hi, I'm a bit confused on this topic based on the FAQ versus some of this forum's questions and answers, so I wanted to make sure before I make the purchase.
I arrive on Japan on March 15 2024 and want to activate the pass on the next day. This is more than 90 days away from now, but less than 180 days, therefore can I buy the JR pass now and have it issued and sent to me a couple of months later so that it fits within the 90 day activation window?

Hi Fran,
If you buy the pass now, then we will keep your order on hold and issue your pass within the 90-day period before your selected travel date. Your pass will then be dispatched closer near your trip.
