Delayed JR pass activation

Hi,
I wonder if I can save the last leg in my trip by delaying activating the JR pass for 2 day.
Itinerary:
Dec 16 evening landing at Haneda staying in Shibuya for 8 days.
Dec 24 noon departing from Narita.
If I activate the JR pass on Dec 18, can I use the last day to cover the trip from Shibuya to Narita?
If yes, where to activate the JR pass in Shibuya other than Haneda airport?

Hi Cheho,

The JR Pass is counted in consecutive days, so the JR Pass counts down from the first day of use. It would not be possible to "Pause" the JR Pass. In other words, you'd have to buy a separate return ticket on Dec 24th.
