Hello,

We are a family of 4 with 2 adult kids, travelling per the following schedule. Seems to me there is no advantage to purchase the JR rail pass, but can you please confirm or advise

20/12 Narita - Yokohama
21/12 Yokohama - Osaka
27 / 12 Osaka - Nagano
31/12 Nagano - Yokohama
5/12 Yokohama- Haneda

Also if we were to buy the Jr rail pass is it too late ?

Hello Anil,

A 7 day JR Pass would have been really good for your itinerary if you had made the return to Yokohama within 7 days. As it stands now it would be better to buy normal tickets, because a 14 day JR Pass would need a bit more travel in order to be cost efficient. You're sort of right in between them.
