Hello, I will be in Tokyo from Oct 18 to 21. I wish to ride the Saphir Odoriko on one of those days. It is possible to reserve in advance? I have purchased the 14 day Green Car pass but it appears that reservations cannot be made using this pass?

Hi Robert,
Personally - I really love this train. It has some of the best views out there, be sure to get a seat facing the ocean.
This train can be reserved - but only once you are in Japan and have exchanged your JR Pass. You might want to do it right away on your arrival date.
