Please advise what pass should I get?

I will be traveling to Japan next yr for 10 days. Will arrive at kansai airport Osaka. From Osaka we will be going to Kyoto with side trips to Nara and Uji. From Kyoto to Takayama and depart at Nagoya. What is the cheapest pass to get??? Thanks.

Hi there,

I checked the route for you and the best way to go about your trip is to buy normal tickets. The distance you travel is somewhat limited in KM and a JR Pass is better used for longer distances and would not pay of for a visit to Takayama and Nagoya.

Hi,Daniel. Thanks for the information . Why do you not suggest Takayama and Nagoya? Our flight departure is at Nagoya. Can you please let me know why??? Thanks again.

Hi again!

What I was trying to say is that it is better to buy normal tickets for your travel and not the JR Pass as you don't do enough travel travel for the JR Pass to pay of. However Takayama and Nagoya are great places to visit!
