Tokyo to Sapporo on a Monday morning

Hi
Can anyone tell me where to find out if I can get from Tokyo to Sapporo on the train. I would like to leave early in the morning and have as few transfers as possible and get there as fast as possible. The journey won't be until February 6th 2017.

Hi there,

Generally, the Shinkansen have plenty of space. While there is no English website to check seat availability, you can be assured of seats.

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
