Visit Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka with JR Pass

Hi there,

If you plan to travel from Tokyo to Osaka/Kyoto, then the JR Pass may not be the best option for you cost wise.
Looking at your plan I would buy separate tickets for your journey.

Tokyo --> Kyoto is ¥ 13,520
Kyoto --> Osaka is ¥ 540

For ¥ 14,060 total. A 7 day rail pass is ¥ 28,300. However if you plan to go back to Tokyo in 7 days than the pass would become a good option.
