Itenary Osaka - Sapporo - Tokyo - osaka

Hi there,

I would start as early as possible if you plan to travel from Osaka to Sapporo. The trip is around 11 hours of rail travel. I would try to catch a train around 6-7, so you will arrive around dinner time in Sapporo.

The route looks as follows:

Take a Hikari service from Shin-Osaka station to Tokyo. At Tokyo, transfer to the Hayabusa Shinkansen to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station. At Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto, take a limited express train to Sapporo.

The route is fully covered by the JR Pass.
