Travel from Numazu to Shin-Hokadote

Hi Jeff,

First, you will want to get on a local train to Mishima station. From Mishima take a Kodama or Hikari service to Tokyo station. You can transfer to the Hokkaido Shinkansen bound for Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station at Tokyo station.

The full route is covered by the JR Pass.

Is there a direct shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station without transferring at Shin-Omori Station? If yes, what would be the name of the shinkasen line? Thanks.

Hi Jeff,

The Hayabusa Shinkansen is direct from Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto without any transfer. It is in fact the same train I was talking about before.
