I need a pass but I am travelling through Mexico and can't receive post

That's no problem! We can ship your pass to your accommodation in Japan, given that you place the order outside of Japan. Note that a physical voucher is required in order to activate the JR Pass and an e-mail confirmation alone is not enough.

Many thanks Daniel. I will buy my pass online today. Slight problem is that my first hotel is in Kyoto and I fly into Tokyo Narita so will actually need my pass for that first train journey! Is there somewhere I could pick it up at Narita airport instead?

Unfortunately there's no pick up point at Narita Airport and we require an address to ship the pass to. I think that we could also get your pass to you in time in Mexico, given that we dispatch it today or tomorrow.

Or it may be saver to look for a [local re-seller] and pick up your pass there.

Ok could you send it to the address in Kyoto and I will just pay for my first train to Kyoto. I'm worried it will not reach me in time in Mexico as I fly from here on Monday (3 days).
