Do I need anything Additional to the JR Pass?

We leave for Japan at the end of the month, and I was careful to book hotels near stations for easy transportations.

I just realized that some of the stations do not off JR lines. What do I do in this scenario? Can you verify if there are any JR stations close to the hotels that I booked? We do not mind walking 20ish minutes if need be.

The hotels are listed below in the order we will be traveling to and from the airport. I am wondering if we should just skip the JR pass and purchase tickets as we go or if we need to do a combination of JR Pass and individual ticket purchases. We do plan to do a day trip from Osaka to Kyoto and from Shinjuku to Mt. Fuji as well.

Travel Itinerary with hotels:

Narita Airport

ONE @ Tokyo- 2 nights
1-19-3, Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo, 131-0045 Japan

Hotel Cordia Osaka Hommachi- 5 nights
4-6-14 Honmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, 541-0053 Japan

Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi- 2 nights
1-2-7, Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Aichi, 460-0048 Japan

HOTEL MYSTAYS Nishi Shinjuku- 3 nights
7-14-14 Nishishinjuku, Tokyo, 160-0023 Japan

Narita Airport

Thank you for the help!

Hi there,

The best thing to do is fill your hotel name (or any point of interest for that matter) in Google Maps and zoom/in/out to find the closest JR station.

For example, for One @ Tokyo (https://goo.gl/maps/KzMR8PtDCbfoAgXs5) you'd zoom out a bit and then click the closest stations and see if there is a JR line stopping there. Google will also show the logo of each company on the station icon. In this case for example it would be: Kinshichō Station.

For Hotel Cordia Osaka Hommachi- 5 nights it would be JR-Namba/Kita-Shinchi Station or Osaka station. In these cases it is better to just look at using local transport within the city, like the metro and use the JR Pass where you can.

Kind regards,
Daniel
