Gran Class as we know has airline style overhead lugged compartments with locking door. Can anyone tell me if it will hold a medium size suitcase 78 x 48 x 28. It fits on the economy coaches easily but doubt it here, is there any storage near the coach entrance doors?

Hi there,
I did Gran Class last week - it is amazing!
The overheads a pretty big (better than on airplanes) and most medium size luggage will fit. There's also extra space at the end/front of each train car for standing luggage. So you should be fine.
In ordinary class or green class, the compartments are still better than airplanes too, but you may need to make a prior reservation for larger luggage items.
