My partner are travelling to Japan in 3 weeks (October). We are staying in Tokyo for 5 nights, moving to Kyoto for 4 nights and then onto Osaka for 5 nights. All our travel will be by train. I am so confused, what pass do we get so we can travel around all these areas by train.
Thank you

Hi there,
Given your longer stays in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, the best option is to combine individual tickets for your main long-distance journeys with a Kansai Area Pass for travel in the Kansai region.
I hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
Mariko
