Hi there,

We're planning a holiday to Japan in March. Flying into Tokyo and staying there 4 nights. Then spending the next 7 nights travelling Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka. Flying out of Tokyo. What pass do you recommend?

Hi there,

I would recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for your trip. The cost of the pass is about the same as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Osaka, as long as you can fit the return Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Tokyo within 7 days.. Now you get unlimited travel for the same price and would pay off, even if the only other travel would be to/from Narita airport.
