Hi there,

At the moment i'm thinking I should get a 14 day pass. My current travel plan looks like this:
Gifu - Hiroshima,
Hiroshima - Osaka,
Osaka - Kyoto,
Kyoto - Gifu,
Gifu - Tokyo,
Tokyo - Fujinomiya and then back to Gifu.

Would this pass be best?

Hello there,

Yes, the JR Pass would be the only pass that covers all your travel. Out of curiosity, why do you start in Gifu? I don't think I've seen someone do that before.

I don't know how many days you will spend in each place but a 14 day JR Pass would be cost effecient for the above route, given that you return to Gifu with the pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank you for your reply. I'm starting in Gifu because a friend of mine is based there and I will spend the first week of my holiday with him.

I arrive on the 28th of Feb, could I choose to not activate it until the 7th of March?
