Hi, I will b spending 14 days in Japan. I would like some advice on logistic.
3 nights at Osaka
3 nights at Kyoto
2 nights at kanazawa
1 night at Matsumoto
2 nights at Fujikawaguchiko
3 nights at Tokyo
I would like to know is it advisable to purchase 14 days Jr pass or should I purchase 4 days Kansai Pass plus 7 days Jr pass is more economical?
Hello there,
I checked your route and compared the total travel price vs the cost of a JR Pass and must say that it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets. A JR Pass would be great if you made a return trip Tokyo - Osaka for instance but you basically travel one way with a bit of a zig-zagging line.
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
