Hi there, could I please check which would be the best/most affordable rail pass to use for the following itinerary?
31/03/2026: Arrive Osaka (Kansai transfer)
1/04/2026:
2/04/2026: Osaka to Kyoto
3/04/2026: Kyoto to Nara return trip
4/04/2026
5/04/2026: Kyoto to Hiroshima return trip
6/04/2026: Kyoto to Tokyo
7/04/2026: Tokyo to Nagano return trip
8/04/2026
9/04/2026
10/04/2026: Tokyo to Kawaguchiko return trip
11/04/2026
12/04/2026: Tokyo to Nagoya
13/04/2026
14/04/2026: Nagoya to Osaka
15/04/2026: Osaka to Kansai

Hi there,

Since your itinerary includes several long-distance return trips, a 14-day Nationwide JR Pass would be an excellent option. Valid from 2 April to 15 April, it will cover the majority of your travels. You can use individual tickets for the rest of your journeys.
