Hi, I plan on the following schedule. Would this worth full 14 day pass or am I better off with 7 day pass?
I would appreciate your insight very much. Thank you.

day 2: Sapporo to Kushiro
day 3: Use torokko train between Kushiro and Toro and return to Sapporo
day 4: round trip between Sapporo and Furano & use torokko train between Furano and Biei
day 5: Sapporo to Hakodate
day 6: spend a day in Hakodate
day 7: Hakodate to Tokyo
day 8: spend a day in Tokyo
day 9: Tokyo to Kyoto
day 10: Kyoto to Osaka
day 11: round trip between Osaka and Kyoto
day 12: round trip between Osaka Arashiyama and spend time in Osaka

Hello there,

You will be traveling by rail nearly everyone and the distances are considerable.

With that in mind I do recommend getting a 14 day Japan Rail Pass.. The cost of a one way trip Sapporo - Tokyo nearly pays for a 7 day JR Pass alone, I think you can imagine the amount of savings with a 14 day JR Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
