I would recommend using a 7 day JR Pass to cover your trip from Tokyo to Osaka and back. Then see how much extra travel you can fit into the usage period while in Tokyo for the best possible savings.
You can pick up the WiFi at Haneda and drop off at Narita for free. It is also possible to return the WiFi from anywhere by registered mail in Japan.
