Is better to buy the 15 days JR PASS - or regular tickets

I'm thinking about if a 7 day or 14 day JR Pass would help here, but can't say for sure without having your timing. For example, how many days will you be spending in Tokyo?

Having said that, you have a good amount of Shinkansen travel planned and this is exactly where the JR Pass can be of good help!

I'm asking because, i put the itinerary on the Jr Pass calculator and it shows that is not worth to buy the JR pass, but i'm not sure if its correct.

I describe you here our trip, with the days that we are going to be in Japan.

Tokyo ( 26 sept- 29 sept)
Tokyo - nikko - tokyo (30 sept)
Tokyo - Fujikawaguchiko (1 oct)
Fujikawaguchiko - Kyoto (2 oct - 4 oct)
Kyoto - nara - Osaka (5 oct)
Osaka (5 oct - 8 oct)
Osaka - Hiroshima - Miyajima (8 oct - 9 oct)
Miyajima - Tokyo (9 oct)

I apareciate if you could tell us, what is the best option. Taking into account if we can save some money.

Thank you for sharing the details, and as the JR Pass Calculator is saying, this would be correct.

Still you could look at using a regional pass between Osaka - Hiroshima. This pass would then cover the way back as far as Osaka, from where you could buy a normal ticket to Tokyo. This is the Kansai - Hiroshima Area Pass.
