Is worth buying the pass if going to Kyoto and osaka only

Hi
It's my first time to go Japan.il be there for 10 days.but planning to go South Korea for 3 days in between
I will be arriving and staying in Tokyo.should I still buy the pass

Hi,
If you go Tokyo-Kansai round trip you nearly make a 7 day pass pay off - and if you arrive at Narita Airport in Tokyo and use the Narita Express just once, that would push you over the top.
You could also go see Himeji from Osaka or Kyoto (which has the country's finest castle) as a half or full day trip and that would also give you some good savings. Don't skip Nara either which has some sperb places to see.

Thank you.im actually arriving from Haneda airport late at night.not sure where I will be staying but I would like it to be near airport.so do you suggest to buy the 7 day pass for the places I want to see?

As I mentioned, with just a bit more you'd get your money's worth. The question is if you are up for it. There is a nice calculator you can use to check if the pass is worth buying here.
