Hello!!

Please, could you help me with this itineray?
1. Osaka - Universal - Osaka (I think is the loop line): 3 passes
2. Osaka - Hiroshima - Miyamaguchi - Miyajima (Ferry boat) - Hiroshima - Osaka: 5 passes
3. Osaka - Nara - Osaka Castle - Osaka: 4 passes
4. Osaka - Himeji - Osaka: 3 passes
5. Osaka - Kumamoto: 1 pass

Is it worth getting the Jr Pass for 7 days?

And please, another question: If I buy the Jr Pass, need I to reserve all the seats when I arrive in Japan?
Because I'm going with my family and we need to have a seat in each itinerary.

Thanks!

Hello!

Given your itinerary, I would recommend the JR Sanyo-San'in Area Pass. This pass provides excellent value and covers your travel as far as Hakata (Fukuoka).

Please note that since the pass boundary ends at Hakata, you will need to purchase a separate individual ticket for the final leg from Hakata to Kumamoto. All your other listed trips - including the Miyajima Ferry and the Osaka Loop Line - will be fully covered!

To reserve a seat, please go to any JR Station. You can make reservations at the ticket machines or the staffed ticket offices (Midori-no-madoguchi). For local lines, you don't need a reservation; you can simply go through the ticket gates using your pass.

I hope this helps with your planning!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
