Hi!
I am looking into the following itinerary and was wondering what the best option is to get around and if I should buy the JR pass:

Tokyo - one night after arrival
Hakone + Mt. Fuji
Hakone + Mt. Fuji
Koyasan
Koyasan
Kyoto
Kyoto
Kyoto
Tokyo 4 days

Hi there,

I checked your itinerary and recommend buying normal rail tickets here. As the total amount of your JR travel is just below the cost of a 7 day JR Pass.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
